Due to the generous gifts of your time, talents, and treasures, this year your Guild continues to provide thousands of volunteer hours and service through programming that reaches our sons, each other and the entire Brophy community.
Your “Heartfelt” gifts make the following activities and gifts possible:

• We have welcomed hundreds of new families at the beginning of the year "Get Acquainted" parties.

• We host many prospective new families at our fall 8th Grade information socials.

• We have aided each other through the assistance of our Carpool Committee to help get our boys to school.

• Our Fashion Show Committee is in the planning stages for a wonderful event with hopes of raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for financial aid. Last year's committee raised $250,000.00!

• The (Brophy Chapel) Chapel Care Committee continues to work hard to maintain the beauty of this historical treasure which so graciously reminds us of God’s ever presence on our campus.

• The Staff Appreciation Committee continues its labor of appreciation by providing a monthly breakfasts and refreshments for the faculty and staff.

• Your gifts have also aided us in contributing $1500 to the Manresa Retreat Center in Sedona for a new ice machine, sleeping mats and vacuum cleaner. Over 50 moms will enjoy a wonderful retreat weekends in September and April.
• We presented a $250 College Scholarship to the Recipient of the 2007 Gwendolyn Reese "Spirit of Challenge" Award.

• $2000 to the Scholarship Students for Varsity Shop Gift Certificates, and $3000 in Freedom pay meal tickets to scholarship students.

• Approximately $1400 was given in the form of requests for assistance in the way of scholarships to our Guild events, i.e. Communion Breakfast and Mom Prom…No Mom will be turned away at an event due to financial circumstances.

• $2000 has been gifted to Project Graduation.

• Once a month we celebrate and recognize Brophy’s faculty and staff birthdays with a special individual card, Birthday cake and giant card that all can enjoy!

• $5000 has been gifted to the school to purchase additional picnic tables for our sons use on campus to enjoy their lunch or studies outdoors.

• $10000 has been gifted to the school for the purchase of a mural of the “Graduate at Graduation” theme to be displayed in the Eller Breezeway.

In addition, special 50th anniversary gifts were made to the school to pay for the murals in the Student Activities Center and a portable mural of the chapel tower to be used for a multitude of events. We also commemorated the 50th anniversary by donating a washer/dryer unit for the Sports Medicine program. It's significance was that it was the same gift the Guild gave 50 years ago as the very FIRST gift to Brophy from the Mothers' Guild.

Your generosity continues to give us the tools and financial support to truly exemplify the Guild’s mission statement of service to the entire Brophy community. We are truly "Moms for Others!"
